Mia is growing like a weed, and developing new skills almost daily! She now sucks her thumb like a champ, and can grab and hold onto a rattle for more than 2 minutes. (Sometimes she even shakes it!) She's awake for longer stretches, and increasingly more alert. She's very curious and looks around to find new and interesting things. Mia smiles a lot, and even laughs out loud on occasion. However, she still screams in the car when we stop at a light or stop sign, though she's learning how to soothe herself with that thumb. Occassionally, she has a rough day and fusses for no apparent reason, but those days are few and far between. Most of the time, she's in great spirits, babbling and cooing and talking with us.
