MIA AT TWO MONTHS!

Current stats: 11 lbs. (50%) , 22-3/4 in. (75%).

Little Miss Mia is doing great at 9 weeks of age. She just had her 2-month checkup with Dr. Perez, who said she is developing well. She supports her head quite well when she's held, and she can lift her head when she's on her tummy. She responds to voices, and smiles and talks a lot. She has also started soothing herself to sleep, and has found a new friend: her hand! She is trying desperately to suck her thumb, but usually ends up sucking her hand or wrist instead. In fact, she's already given herself a few hickies! :-)

This past month, Mia finally met her Grandpa Art, and spent more time with Tutu Jackie, Grandma Shirley, Bubby Sylvia, Godmother Amy, Uncle Ray & Aunt Tammy as well. Her "Fairy Godmother," our neighbor Lisa, also joined us for many strolls around the neighborhood. Mia met Karla's co-workers at Torrance Adult School, and will meet students & teachers at Santa Ana College very soon.

Mia also had a couple playdates with our friends' kids: first, with Kate Johnson, whose mom, Staci, works with Karla at SAC. Then, with Trinity Sala, who visited from the Bay Area along with mom Chelle Vogel, dad Oscar Sala, and Grandma.
