Happy New Year and Hau'oli Makahiki Hou to all our friends and family! It's been one year and two days since our last post. As you can tell, Mia has been VERY active, leaving little time for blogging. One of our resolutions is to update more often. :-)
In the past year, Mia has grown from a toddler into a little girl. She loves to sing and dance and make jokes. Anything for a laugh. Also really enjoys playing and listening to music. She sings "Do Re Mi" from "The Sound of Music," plus Twinkle Twinkle, the Alphabet Song, etc. Her current favorite artists are Johnny Cash, Bob Marley, Van Halen (w/DLR, of course!), the B-52's and Justin Timberlake. She also enjoys listening to jazz, blues, and anything with a ukelele. This morning, we watched the Rose Parade and she especially enjoyed the marching bands ("Look Mama, a clarinet!") and the horses.
In 2007, Mia learned how to tumble and swim, and she seems like a natural for soccer when she's a little older. She loves participating in and watching sports. Yells "Go Niners! Touchdown!" during any football game (you can imagine Daddy's pride). Not only is she a rough & tumble girl, she also likes tea parties, fairies, playing dress-up, and pink. Very well-rounded! Mia is a lot of fun and has a great spirit and sense of adventure.

We promise to post again soon with more details ... All our best, The Friztavios
